Monitor Outlet, Inc. Terms & Conditions of Sale

Important: Please read these Terms and Conditions of Sale carefully.

By clicking the Agree and Check Out button above, I acknowledge my understanding of the Terms and Conditions and acceptance of those terms.

By accepting delivery of the products and services described in the Monitor Outlet, Inc. invoice or other Monitor Outlet Inc. documentation, customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these Terms and Conditions of sale.

All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which may be obtained by contacting our Customer Service Department. Products cannot be returned without a RMA number.

Note: Please save all packaging and accessories for any item that is to be returned to Monitor Outlet. All original equipment, components, manuals, cables, documents in packaging must be returned with your item in order for Monitor Outlet to process your RMA. An item returned for replacement may be replaced at Monitor Outlet’s sole discretion unless otherwise required by law. Products with specific refund and return policies and deadlines must be returned within the time periods specified for each item. All items sold through Monitor Outlet are subject to our Terms and Conditions or Sale .


Shipping

During Checkout you will be prompted to select your preferred shipping method.

We provide FREE delivery on most Plasmas and LCDs shipped within the contiguous United States. Products eligible for free shipping are indicated on the Monitor Outlet web site.

Shipping charges are additional for Hawaii and Alaska . Note: We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO addresses. We ship the flat TV Plasma displays via freight companies that are familiar with handling this type of product.

Freight Truck deliveries should be inspected by you at the time of delivery if you suspect damage. If you have any reason at all to be concerned about damage, please write “PRODUCT ARRIVED DAMAGED” clearly on the sheet that the carrier asks you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easier to resolve later.

Every effort will be made to ship all orders placed before 2:00 pm EST on the same business day. Under normal circumstances, products should be received within 3-5 business days. We will attempt to notify you of an extended delay of shipment beyond the 5 business days.

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. It is essential that you read this carefully to make certain that the product and or products ordered are correct.

In the event you find an error, you must call and e-mail Monitor Outlet, Inc. the correction or it will be deemed accepted and correct. Once a product is shipped, the order cannot be changed or cancelled without written approval by Monitor Outlet, Inc. at our sole discretion.


Acceptance of Product:

Plasma Displays and large screen LCDs: Most units arrive without incident. Shipping damage is rare, However, you must inspect the box and open the box before signing to accept the unit and visually inspect the display immediately upon receipt. Check very carefully to make certain the glass or screen is not cracked, Even though the outer glass may not be shattered, it is important that you look closely for inner glass damage. If the unit is damaged, write, “refused due to damage” on the Bill of Lading and instruct the driver that you will not accept the product due to damage. Call us immediately and we will begin the replacement process. We must notify the shipping Carrier within 24 hours so no shipping claim will be invalidated. This is dictated by the shipping Carriers. And their Insurer.

Note: Prior to accepting delivery, make certain to verify that you are receiving the product you ordered. The model number is clearly displayed on the box.

If the customer receives damaged products it is requested that the customer refuse the product upon original delivery attempt. If damaged products are accepted from the Carrier such damage must be noted on the delivery record. Monitor Outlet must be contacted immediately, no later than 24 hours after delivery, describing the observed damage or refusal of product in accordance with Carrier rules.


Typographical Errors

We endeavor to publish accurate selling prices for the products that we offer. However if an error is made as a result of a product being listed at an incorrect price or contains incorrect information due to typographical or technology errors or information received from suppliers/manufacturers we shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If the order is confirmed and charged to your credit card, we shall issue credit in the amount of the incorrect price. Monitor Outlet, Inc. is unable to guarantee that our prices listed on any other Web Sites or Search Engines are accurate or up to date.

We cannot offer price protection. There will be no price adjustments given once your order is shipped.


Limited Manufacturers Warranty

Customers understand that Monitor Outlet, Inc. is not the manufacturer of the products purchased by the customer. The only Warranty offered is that of the manufacturer, not Monitor Outlet, Inc. for the purchase of the products. In the purchasing of the products, the customer understands and is relying on the Manufacturer’s specifications only, and is not relying on any statements, specifications online, photographs, or any other illustrations representing the products that may be provided by Monitor Outlet, Inc. or its employees.

We do not warrant the performance or integrity of any product.


Return Privileges

All returns require prior authorization and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, which can be obtained by contacting our customer service department no later than 24 hours after receipt of shipment. We must authorize returns. We will replace, at our sole discretion, any product that is deemed defective by the specific product’s manufacturer’s existing standards and policies.

Please note: Due to restrictions placed upon us by manufacturers, Plasma TV’s, LCD TVs, LCD/DLP projectors, mounts, LCD Monitors, projections screens, custom items, accessory items, Monovision displays and Home Entertainment products are not returnable for exchange, replacment or credit. Additional products may be added to this list as manufacturer’s policies change or as new product categories become available.

All non-defective returns authorized by Monitor Outlet, Inc. are subject to a 25% restocking fee and must be returned within 30 days from date of purchase. They must be returned in the original packaging with all components and information enclosed. UPC Code serial numbers must be on the box. Products missing these are NOT returnable. Failure to return a product within the applicable return period will be deemed to be acceptance of the product.

Defective Products authorized by Monitor Outlet, Inc. for return, can only be returned if in manufacturer’s original packaging, in the same condition as sold, with all literature/instructions/documentation/blank warranty cards and all supplied accessories. If warranty cards are filed or if rebate forms are filed these items cannot be returned for exchange or refund. The manufacturer’s box must be placed into a shipping carton with no stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer’s package. Manufactures such as but not limit to Sony, Panasonic and Mitsubishi televisions usually carry an onsite service warranty which prohibits Monitor Outlet from allowing defective returns of such items. Sony, Panasonic and Mitsubishi televisions will be serviced by the manufacture at the owner's location. Monitor Outlet strives to supply excellent service to our consumers and would like to know if you are having any trouble dealing with a manufacture. If you need any assistance reaching the manufacture to setup your service claim please contact your Monitor Outlet sales agent for support.

Other than shipping damage all products perceived as defective, must be considered to be defective by the individual manufacture. Please contact the manufacturer directly to review their specific policies and procedures. Defective Products: When products are deemed defective by the manufacturer you are required to call a Product Specialist at Monitor Outlet, Inc.and e-mail this information to and us with the manufacturer’s case number and contact.


Cancellation of Order

Once an order has been accepted by us, it may not be possible to cancel the order before it is shipped, should you change your mind. If you find yourself in this situation, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to cancel your order, but please be aware that restocking charges may apply on the unshipped order. PLEASE NOTE: an order cannot be cancelled once it is in transit. If you refuse deliver, original shipping charges, return shipping charges, and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from any potential authorized refund.

Local & State Sales Tax

Monitor Outlet, Inc. follows State and Local tax policies. As we are domiciled in Florida , according to Florida State Tax Laws, we must collect sales tax on purchases within the state. Therefore, during check out or the order process Florida State tax will be added to the price shown at Monitor Outlet, Inc. for purchases and deliveries made in the State of Florida. In some instances, as tax laws are consistently being altered, we may also be required to collect sales tax for other states. In these few situations, your product specialist will discuss the charge will you prior to shipment.
